Congresswoman Hahn Applauds Governor Brown’s Signing of High Speed Rail Bill

Los Angeles, CA – Today, Congresswoman Janice Hahn released a statement applauding Governor Jerry Brown for signing SB 1029, the California High-Speed Rail funding bill.

“With Governor Brown’s signature, California takes another step forward in the construction of a high speed rail system that will move Californians around the state swiftly and efficiently, helping to reduce air pollution and relieving traffic congestion. And it means thousands of new, good paying jobs.” 

“This project requires us to watch every dime and be more responsible with taxpayer’s money. Californians deserve high-speed rail that works and is completed on time and on budget.”
