Congresswoman Hahn Votes Against DC Abortion Ban Bill

Washington, DC – This morning, Congresswoman Janice Hahn released the following statement regarding her vote against H.R. 3803, Republican legislation that would have radically restricted women’s access to health care in the District of Columbia:

“It’s appalling to me that Congress would use DC women as a political messaging tool. The extremely difficult choices that women must make regarding their health care ought to remain between them, their families and their doctors. My Republican friends should spend less time trying to pass legislation to control our bodies and more time working across the aisle to create jobs and grow the economy.”
