Hahn Announces Federal Transit Administration Grant to City of Torrance

SAN PEDRO, CA – Today, Congresswoman Janice Hahn announced the City of Torrance has been awarded a $550,000 grant from the Federal Transit Administration to fund the purchase of a 40ft. Compressed Natural Gas bus.
“Reliable and clean public transportation is more important than ever,” said Rep. Hahn. “Alternative-fuel mass transit is a critical component of the LA-region’s transportation future. For the sake of our economy and our environment, we must continue to invest in clean transportation networks.”
